Choquequirao means (cradle of gold) one of the less visited archaeological centers but more beautiful that exists today called the other Machupicchu or future center that will be more visited in Cusco but does not have bus or train access can only be accessed through a trekking 4 days or 7 days with machupicchu where the flames of the sun is the only place where you can enjoy the flames on the terraces this archaeological site in the time of the Incas was like the checkpoint to enter the jungle or Vilcabamba that was until 1534, after a change, its function became the resistance of the last Inca settlers until the year of 1572. Itinerary

1

Day 1: CAPULIYOC - SANTA ROSA

Starting the trek from Capuliyoc which is located on 3100 meters above sea level from where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Apurímac canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world. Once we are ready we will start descending to the Ichiquisca lunch place where our lunch will be ready after lunch a nap and then continue descending to Rosalina beach which is located about 1550 is the lowest point of this trek and then ascend to the camp two hours more What is Santa Rosa?

Day 2: SANTA ROSA - CHOQUEQUIRAO

This day is recommended to leave early as at 5 a.m. because it is a three-hour ascent to marampata that is at 2850 meters above sea level. From where you can see Choquequirao and also capuliyoc from where the treck thicker then a small stop will continue to the cradle of gold that is Choquequirao where the second night camps Marampata walk is two hours up and down. Once arrived at the place lunch and if possible, you can visit the agricultural platforms in the afternoon.

Day 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO - CHIQUISQA

This days you can enjoy the archaeological center of Choquequirao during the morning starting from the house of the priest to the flames of the son that are most important of the place for memento since the rest is still inside the vegetation and then continue to Marampata where it will be his place of lunch then descend to the beach Rosalina the difference of 1350m. The difference of Maranpata to the beach then continue another hour until Uchiquisqa where you will camp the last night on this trek.

Day 4: CHIQUISQA - CAPULIYOC - CUSCO

After the last breakfast with the cooks and muleteer who takes the equipment, you will have the last three hour climb to Capuliyoc where the trek started and how you will also be waiting for transportation back to Cusco and to your accommodation and so the trek ends.
